You can also check the status of your PAN card application via SMS. To do this, send an SMS with your 15-digit acknowledgement number to the number provided below:
Send an SMS to 57575. (Format: Type “NSDL PAN” followed by your acknowledgement number).
Note: The status of your PAN card application will be sent to the mobile number you provided in your PAN application form. Ensure you don’t change your mobile number and keep it active till the process is completed.
How to check PAN card status on the NSDL & UTIITSL website?
There are two official ways to check the PAN Card status. Let’s first discuss it via the NSDL website.
- In the first step, you will need to visit the official Protean eGov Technologies Ltd website. Then, a pop-up will appear. You will have to close it by clicking anywhere on the screen except on the pop-up.

- In the next step, you will need to enter your 12-digit Aadhaar Number and click on “Continue”. After that, you will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number. Then, ensure you click on the “Continue” button. Then, you can easily view the status of your PAN Card through your Aadhaar Number.
