Cashless Claim Procedure

For the cashless claim settlement procedure, you need to get admitted to one of the network hospitals of the company and then, follow the steps stated below.

  • In case of pre-planned hospitalization, you need to intimate the insurer three days prior to the hospitalization, and for emergency hospitalization, you need to inform the company within 24 hours of the occurrence.
  • You can file a health claim online by visiting the official website of the company, or, you can call on their helpline number 1800-258-4242. Else, you can also directly write to them using their email ID, healthclaims@godigit.com. For the senior citizens, they have a separate email ID, seniors@godigit.com. The company is always at your service, 24×7, even on the holidays.
  • Then, you need to show your e-health card and ask for the pre-approval form at Medi assist help desk/insurance helpdesk at the hospital.
  • Fill in the form with the required details. Submit the duly filled and signed form at the helpdesk.
  • If no discrepancy is found, your claim will be approved and you can receive the medical treatments availing of the cashless facility.
  • In this case, you need to make sure that your treatment is completed within 15 days of the approval.

Reimbursement Claim Procedure

If you choose to avail of the reimbursement claim procedure, you need not get admitted to a network hospital of the company. you can choose any hospital of your preference.

  • Once you get admitted to a hospital, you need to intimate the insurer within 2 days. Once Go Digit receives your call, they will send a link where you need to upload the soft copies of all the required original documents such as bills, reports, slips, etc. you also need to attach the bank details of your preferable bank account.
  • Remember, before uploading the documents, you need to self-attest those. You also need to write ‘For Digit Insurance’ on them. It is advised to keep all the original documents handy as whenever the company asks for those, you can produce them immediately.
  • You need to upload the documents within 30 days from the day of discharge or when you receive the link on the behalf of the company.
  • If any further documents are required, the company will inform you about the same and you need to submit those within the stipulated time.
  • The company promises to reimburse the claim amount within 30 days from the receipt of the last necessary claim document.

Required Documents For Digit Health Insurance Claim

For hospitalization claims:

  • Duly filled and signed claim form
  • Medical Records (Optional Documents may be asked on a need basis: Indoor case papers, OT notes, PAC notes, etc.)
  • Discharge summary
  • Original hospital main bill
  • Original Hospital Main Bill with the breakup
  • Consultation and investigation papers
  • Original Pharmacy Bills with Prescriptions (except hospital supply) and investigations done outside the Hospital)
  • Digital Images/CDs of the Investigation Procedures (if required)
  • KYC bank details with canceled cheques.
  • For pregnancy related claims- Ante-natal Record, Birth Discharge Summary
  • MLC/FIR Report for an accident or involvement of police
  • In case of death or disability- Post Mortem Report, Death Certificate or Disability Certificate Original Invoice/Sticker (If applicable)
  • Attending physician’s certificate (if any)

For critical illness claims:

  • Duly filled and signed claim form
  • Medical Records (Optional Documents may be asked on a need basis: Indoor case papers, OT notes, PAC notes, etc.)
  • Consultation and investigation papers
  • KYC bank details with canceled cheques.
  • MLC/FIR Report for an accident or involvement of police
  • Attending physician’s certificate (if any)

For daily hospital cash claims:

  • Duly filled and signed claim form
  • Discharge summary
  • KYC bank details with canceled cheques.

How To Know The Claim Status For Digit Health Insurance?

Digit Health Insurance has come up with a unique WhatsApp facility to check the claim status. For that, you need to follow the below steps.

  • Go to the official website of the company.
  • On top of the homepage, there will be a ‘Claim’ tab. Click on that.
  • Now select the ‘Claim Status’ option.
  • Select the desired application.
  • After that, connect your WhatsApp and click on the ‘Continue to Chat’ option to know your claim status.
  • In that case, you may need to share the required details such as policy number or/and claim reference number and others, if any.
