United India Health Insurance Plans

Under the Revised Family Medicare Policy, Individual or Family Floater coverage is available to the policyholder. Individual basis provides a separate sum insured for each insured member, whereas family floater basis shares the sum insured limit with the insured’s entire family as defined in the policy schedule.

  • In-Patient Hospitalization: The policy will cover the reasonable and customary charges for the medical expenses of an insured person in the event of medically necessary treatment received while hospitalized, provided that the admission date of the hospitalization due to Illness or Injury falls within the policy period.
  • DayCare Treatment: Following an illness or accident that happens within the insurance period, the policy will reimburse the medical expenses incurred on the insured person’s daycare treatment during the policy period.
  • Pre- & Post-Hospitalization Expenses: The policy will cover the insured person’s pre-hospitalization medical expenses incurred due to an illness or injury that occurs within 30 days of being admitted to the hospital, as well as post-hospitalization medical expenses incurred due to an illness or injury that occurs within 60 days of being discharged from the hospital, up to a maximum of 10% of the sum insured.

The United India Family Medicare 2014 is a health insurance policy that is an upgraded version of the United India Family Medicare Plan. The policy provides coverage for all family members under a single sum insured.
