The Liberty Health Connect Policy, which is led by IRDAI, offers a variety of covers to handle your hospitalization and healthcare needs’ related medical costs. It is a broad umbrella for medical care for accidents and illnesses that call for in-patient hospitalization. It extends to covering pre- and post-hospitalization costs, domiciliary treatment, day-care procedures, and organ donor costs in addition to hospitalization in the event of an accident or illness.
This policy, which has affordable rates, is available as a family and individual floater sum covered. The policy is best suited for people with varying requirements and families of various sizes and ages because it has the outstanding advantage of being personalized to your needs. To meet the demands of every class of people, Liberty Health Connect is separated into 4 different types of plans: E-connect, Basic, Elite, and Supreme.

Benefits Of Liberty Health Connect Plan
The plan comes with the following perks:
Recovery Benefit:
The plan offers a lump sum payment of Rs. 10,000 in case the hospitalization exceeds 10 days. This benefit is only available for Supreme policyholders.
Restoration Of Basic Sum Insured:
The plan offers restoration of the sum insured once in a policy year in case of complete exhaustion of the sum insured. This benefit is available under Elite and Supreme plans.
Attractive Renewal Benefits:
After 2 years of continuous policy renewal, the plan offers free health checkups irrespective of the claims made under the policy.
No Co-Pay:
The plan avoids you from sharing the hospitalization medical expenses through co-pay, thus relieving you from financial stress.
Free Second Opinion:
The plan also enables the policyholder to get a second opinion from the company’s expert panel of doctors.
Loyalty Perk:
For every claim-free year, the policy offers a 10% increase in the sum insured, subject to a maximum of 100% of the sum insured.
Pre-Policy Medical Check-Up Costs:
50% of the cost of a pre-policy medical check-up is covered by the company, provided that your age must be more than 55 years of age.
Tax Benefits:
Under Section 80 D of the Income Tax Act, 1961, you can avail of tax benefits on the premium you will pay for the Liberty Health Connect plan.
Extended Policy Tenure:
The company will extend your policy up to the number of days you are out of the country at no extra cost. The number of days should not be lesser than 15.

What Expenses Are Excluded From Liberty Health Connect Plan?
The following is a list of the exclusions that apply to the Liberty Health Connect Policy:
- Claims involving deliberate self-harm or suicide attempts
- Costs associated with treating AIDS, HIV, and other venereal diseases as well as sexually transmitted infections
- Illnesses or injuries caused by alcohol or drugs
- Costs associated with recovering from drug or alcohol misuse
- Hospitalization as a result of fighting or combat
- Any allegations involving radiation or exposure to nuclear materials
- Costs associated with purchasing comforts during a hospital stay
What Expenses Are Excluded From Liberty Health Connect Plan?
In case you are not satisfied with the policy’s terms and conditions, the company gives you 15 day free look period, in which you can decide and return the policy.
Depending on the insured amount and the person’s age, a medical checkup may be necessary for specific circumstances.
No, if the insured constantly renews the policy without interruption and the terms and conditions of the insurance remain the same.

This insurance policy may be purchased by the policyholder for themselves, their spouse, their dependent children (over the age of 91 days and up to 25 years), and their dependent parents or parents-in-law (up to the age of 65).

- Family Discount: If two or more family members are insured under a single policy on an individual sum insured basis, the policy offers a family discount of 10%.
- Long-Term Discount: If the insured chooses a two-year policy term, the policy offers a multi-year policy discount of 7.5 percent.
