Pre-Hospitalization & Post-Hospitalization Medical Expenses:
Medical costs are not limited to hospitalisation fees; with Care Heart, you are also covered for pre-hospitalization and post-hospitalization costs. All you have to do now is concentrate on your treatment and recovery – the insured are protected for 30 days before admission and 60 days following discharge (maximum up to 5 percent of the Sum Insured).
Cardiac Health Check-up: Care health shall organize a Cardiac Health Check-up on a cashless basis at its network provider or any other empanelled providers in India upon request for the set of medical tests specified in the policy as per the Sum Insured. For each insured covered by the Policy, this benefit will be accessible only once throughout the policy year.
No Claims Bonus:
In any instance, the No Claims Bonus will not exceed 50% of the Sum Insured under the policy, and if a claim is made during the policy year, the No Claims Bonus will be reduced by 10% of the sum insured, but the Total Sum Insured will never be less than the Sum Insured.
Automatic Recharge:
It’s never too late for a refill! As a result, your sum covered is reinstated precisely when you require it. If you ever use the full limit of Sum Insured due to claims and thereby run out of/exhaust your health coverage, we will promptly reinstate the entire sum insured once during the policy year. This amount can be used for future claims that are not related to any illness or injury for which a claim has previously been accepted for You during that Policy Year.
Domiciliary Hospitalization:
You may not be in a condition to be transferred to a hospital, or a hospital room may not be available at the moment you require medical treatment. We will pay you up to the Sum Insured for Medical Expenses incurred during your treatment at home, as long as it entails medical care for more than three days in a row. In the case of a claim made under this benefit, ‘Pre-Hospitalization Medical Expenses and Post-Hospitalization Medical Expenses’ will be paid.

Things You Won’t Find in Care Heart Plan
Here’s the list of the things that are excluded under the Care Health Plan:
- Expenses incurred as a result of self-injury as a result of suicide or attempted suicide.
- Treatment-related to or resulting from pregnancy, childbirth, abortion, miscarriage, and other related events.
- Fertility tests and arrangements, including in vitro fertilisation.
- Hospitalization due to war, strike, turmoil, and nuclear weapons assaults.
- Internal Congenital Disease.
Premium Calculation of the Care Heart Plan
Listed below are the steps that you need to follow to calculate the premium for your Care heart Plan.
- Go to the official website of Care Insurance.
- After that, hover over the health insurance tab on the status bar and find “Care Heart”. Click on it.
- You will then be directed to the Care Heart Plan wherein you will find a small box on the right “Get Quote in 1 min”.
- After that, you will need to enter your mobile number and Pincode. Then, click on “Get Quote”.
- Then, you will need to enter your name and email id in the box. Then, click on “Next”.
- After that, simply choose the no. of children, no. of adults, and the age of the eldest member that you want to insure.
