After the patient is discharged, the company will get the claim documentation from the hospital and pay the hospital the agreed-upon amount.

When the insured makes a pre-arranged arrangement with the hospital for the procedure, they are required to cover the hospital’s expenses upfront and submit a claim for reimbursement within 15 days of the patient’s discharge.
